Cool, thanks I'm looking at buying one and I'm sort of stuck between deciding to get either an Intuos5 or a Bamboo Pen and Touch. Any Feedback you might be able to give me regarding an Intuos? Would you recommend the Intuos over the Bamboo?
I have a bamboo pen and touch and tbh its a bit temperamental. I've never used it as a mouse and bought it as a spare and travelling tablet but it seems to have a problem on certain systems with adobe products that basically cause the sensitivity to stop working until you close all the adobe stuff. Which makes drawing with it almost impossible. As far as I'm aware its not a problem that has been fixed yet. So I would go for either a normal bamboo or an intuos. If you are just starting out I would perhaps recommend a 2nd hand or refurbished intuos 2 from ebay or somewhere as the new models can be rather pricey.
Ah, Thanks I'm mainly just asking around to see if there are any problems people have with certain devices before I decide on a model. And thanks for the tip, but I'd rather spend a little more on a newer model that has better technology and will probably last a bit longer too (software compatibility wise), than buy an older or second hand model that I don't know how long another person has used it for or with less modern tech (The sensitivity of the tip.. etc). You get my drift?
Anyway, thanks for the help. Really appreciate it, LB-no
Ahh, this is a lovely breath of fresh air. I'd like to visit this place. The perspective is a bit vague and shifts between areas. However this does serve as a neat play on the mind. Keep up the great work!
Thankyou! It was commission work and he wanted it a little surreal and sort of fantasy hence the shifting. Am glad you like it (I love your artwork, gave me warm fuzzies that you commented)
Thankyou, and ta for taking the time to do a paint over. I learned a fair bit from doing this work - though it is commissioned work so I probably wont be going back to it - and the client did want a sorta surreal kind of environment hence the shifting perspective and whatnot. But I will certainly keep in mind what you mentioned for my future pieces.
Cheers,

I dropped an eagle for focus. Raised your horizon line so those mid ground trees wouldn't break the perspective, then dropped your 'mist' to the path.
Also darkened your foreground more to separate it and lighted your mid ground to push it back. Then did a colour pass to create more mood.
Thankyou
